You are viewing Cheat Codes for Final Fantasy 1 And 2 Premium Package System : Playstation Date Added : 2005-11-20 05:21:30 Views : 26021 Final Fantasy: Dragon Warrior reference: Find the three tombs located next to the white magic shop in Elfland. The tombstone farthest to the left reads: "Here lies Erdrick" "873-866" "R.I.P." This is a direct reference to a character in the game Dragon Warrior. Final Fantasy: Invisible guard in castle: In the first castle entered in the game, Castle Coneria, above Queen Jane's room is what appears to be a room with no one inside. Search around the room a bit, however, and you will realize that you can talk to someone although they are not there. After you rescue the princess, the message will change. Final Fantasy: Easy gil: Acquire the ship from the pirates. Board the ship, and repeatedly press X + Circle fifty five times. A number-sliding game will appear. Complete this as fast as possible. If you finish under two minutes, you will receove 10,000 gil. Finish under four minutes for 5,000 gil, and under six minutes for 2,000 gil. Unlock Sliding Tile Game (FF2) To unlock a hidden sliding tile mini-game in Final Fantasy 2, go to the ship. Press and hold X, then hit CIRCLE 55 times. Final Fantasy: Easy experience: Northeast of the port town of Provaka is a two space wide peninsula with enemies from the Northern Continent. They offer a lot experience and are difficult to defeat unless you are around levels 12 or 13. Old Dog, New Tricks If you've forgotten about those old tricks in Final Fantasy (the first one), here they are again: The peninsula north of Pravoka (the town where your party earns the pirate ship) is a two square section populated by monsters you meet mid-way through your quest. Killing them early on means massive experience for your first few levels. You can go through the Temple of Ordeal (part of the Class Change Quest) if you have the ship and the canoe; just borrow the river to duck into the Castle. Some items in that dungeon (notably the Heal Staff) can help in the Gurgu Volcano. The Level 8 Magic Shops in Leifin (the town where no one can be understood until the TABLET is translated) are hard to find. Look for a crack in the town walls in its northeastern corner. RUB (black magic, level 6) doesn't work on undead, but ZAP! (black magic, level 8) does. In the Earth Cave, one section of tunnel spawns one Giant encounter with each step, which is great if you want to fight a lot of enemies for experience. The ProRing and Ribbon are great accessories (armour actually), protecting against the RUB spell; neither though however, protects against the RUB effect that results when Sorcerers attack. When Sorcerers Attack! is also not a Fox TV show. Final Fantasy: Easy healing: After you get the Healing Staff, get in a battle with any weaker monsters. Kill all but one of them, then have someone use the staff and the others in your party use equipment that do not do anything. Continue until fully healed. This works well when going into the Ice Cave after the long river ride. Final Fantasy 2: Blood Sword: You will acquire the Blood Sword during/after your quest to storm Fynn Castle and depose the Dark Forces there. Do not let its attack rating fool you. Equipped on an experience sword user (for example, Firion), the Blood Sword drains the HP from its target to restore the user. Against most enemies, it will drain a good portion of health, making it a quick save in case you run out of magic. Do not bother draining the undead, as it will damage, and not heal. The Blood Sword is most effective against boss battles, or against any monster will a high defense rating, (for example, Red Mousse, Dark Flan, Hill Gigas, Wood Golem, Green Dragon, White Dragon, etc.). The Blood Sword drains HP and ignores enemy defense. Better yet, to enhance its effectiveness, cast Berserk (to increase attack power) and Aura (to increase damage against certain foes) on the person wielding it to maximize attack/drain power. Even the most difficult monsters can fall in a few hits from this thing. Do not sell it. It is to your advantage to train someone extensively in the Sword class to make it an effective weapon for your party. Final Fantasy: Zeus Glove: Go to Bahamut's cave. Once you first enter, go to the bottom left part. The Zeus Glove will appear in the items screen if you are lucky -- There is a 1/300 chance of finding it. Stronger Characters (FF2) The "trick" is simply to get into a random battle, but then attack your own party members. Do this until your HP is in the red, then go ahead and win the battle. Be careful not to let your characters die in the fight. After the battle, you'll notice that your physical attributes will increase, like strength, and HP. This does not work every time, but it works most of the time. So by fighting random battles, and getting all three of your characters HP to red, and then winning, you could gain a LOT of HP very quickly for each character, after every battle. After the battle, you need to get their HP back up to white (near full). For magic, what you need to do, is to simply get into a random battle, and then keep casting magic. This is best to do against strong enemies. Initiate a random battle, and keep casting low level magic, about 10 times or so. After the battle, your magic power and MP will increase. You can keep doing this as much as you want; so within a short period of time, you can gain a lot of MP, which will make future battles and treks into dungeons much easier. Final Fantasy: Legend Of Zelda reference: Find the three tombs located next to the white magic shop in Elfland. The tombstone farthest to the left reads: "Here lies Link" "R.I.P." Final Fantasy: Adamant location: The location of the Adamant needed for Excalibur is in the tower in the sky -- you need the chime and the cube. Go in the tower and continue to the place with eight ways to travel. Go in the bottom left diagonal and fight the enemy that guards it. Open the treasure chest to get the Adamant. Hidden Magic Shops: In the town where you received the chime to Mirage Tower, go to the top right corner. When you reach a break in the wall keep going right. You will find a Black and a White Magic shop. The black shop sells level 8 magic Flare, and the white shop has level 8 magic Life2. Not enough codes for you?
